Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company, Formerly known as Dong Hung Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd., was incorporated on May 21, 1999, the business registration certificate number 071837, issued by Hanoi Department of Planning and Investment.
On April 17, 2008, the Company was transformed into Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company, registered for 2nd Business Registration on June 4, 2020, company ID 0100903157.
The company has starting point in the context of the country’s economic difficulties, the private economy has not yet been developed, goods mainly rely on imports from developed countries.
With the trend of economic integration and development step by step, the Electricity sector is a very important field in the economic development process. Grasping the chance of this situation, Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company boldly invested in this spearhead industry, focusing on the main fields of manufacturing electrical equipment for low voltage, medium voltage 22 kV, 35 kV, consulting on design and construction of 22 kV, 35 kV, 110 kV to 220 kV power network. Electrical equipment products (Ceramic insulating materials and polymer insulators) such as: Lightning arresters, Switches, Fuses, Insulators, array insulators, electrical panel cabinets, medium voltage and low voltage grid accessories, … are poduced in accordance with TCVN & IEC, inspected at the Quality Assurance and Testing Center 1, 2, 3, ETC, registering quality of goods at Hanoi Department of Standards, Metrology and Quality.

– 1999: Established Dong Hung Electrical Equipment Company Limited;
– 2004: Built Head Office and Plant of electric equipment, investing in modern technological electric equipment production line;
– 2005: Granted the certificate of quality management system ISO 9001: 2000;
– 2008: The company was changed from Dong Hung Electrical Equipment Company Limited to Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company;
– 2014: Granted the certificate of quality management system ISO 9001: 2008;
– 2016: Granted the certificate of the quality management system ISO 9001: 2015;
2. SCIENCE STUDY AWARDS
The first project: In 2002 – 2003, Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology assigned Dong Hung Company to carry out the project “Research to improve quality and perfect the technology of manufacturing new material ceramic ZnO (MOC- ZnO) as 35 kV lightning resistant valve“. On March 22, 2006, the project was given Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award – VIFOTEC and given the Certificate of Creative Labor by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour.
Pilot production project: In 2004 – 2006, Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology assigned Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company to carry out the pilot production project “Improving production technology of ceramic lightning resistant valves MOV-ZnO voltage 35 kV“. On May 25, 2007, the City Scientific Council made the acceptance and evaluated the project excellent.
The second project: in 2008-2009, Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology assigned Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company to carry out the project “Research on nonlinear resistance from zinc oxide (MOV-ZnO) to manufacture lightning resistant valves 110 kV and 220 kV“. The City Scientific Council made the acceptance and evaluated the project good.
The third project: In 2010-2011, the Department of Science and Technology of Hanoi assigned Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company to implement the project “Research for application of polymer composite materials – silicone (PC) as alternative materials for ceramics, glass in electrical engineering equipment manufacturing“. On July 27, 2012, the project was accepted by City Scientific Council, and evaluated good. In March 2013, the project was given the 3rd prize, the Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation Award – VIFOTEC and was awarded the Certificate of Merit by the Union of Science and Technology – Ministry of Science and Technology, Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Industry and Trade and the People’s Committee of Hanoi for the results of scientific and technological research.
Pilot production project: in 2014-2015, based on the research results of the project “Completing the production process and applying new polymer composite-silicone (PC) materials as alternative insulating materials for porcelain ceramic and glass materials in the electrical equipment manufacturing industry”.
In 2005, Dong Hung Industry Joint Stock Company won the third prize of “Vietnam Science and Technology Innovation VIFOTEC” award with the project “Improving production technology of MOV – ZnO voltage of 35 KV ceramic lightning resistant valve with” under the city level program of sicence and technology 01C-01, which was chaired by Hanoi City Department of Science and Technology.
In 2012, the company won the Second Prize of Science and Technology Prize with the theme of manufacturing lightning protection valves with voltage of 110 kV, 220 kV.
